Terms of Use

Effective date: 13 October 2026

The YouTube Reporting Pilot is a private, read-only tool for authorized UAC internal reporting. By authorizing the application, the channel owner confirms that they have authority to grant access to the relevant YouTube channel and that use is permitted by the organization that owns the channel and its data.

Authorized use only

Use is limited to the actual authorized channel owner and personnel expressly permitted to support the approved reporting function. The application must not be used to access a channel, account, or data without the owner’s authorization.

Read-only access

The application requests only the read-only scopes needed for YouTube reporting. It does not request content publishing, editing, deletion, or upload permissions. Consent may be declined or revoked at any time through Google Account connected-app controls.

Data protection

Use of the pilot is subject to the Privacy Policy. OAuth credentials and reporting data must be handled only through approved secure storage and must not be placed in public repositories, logs, spreadsheets, tickets, or this website.

Service status

This is a limited pilot, not a public consumer offering. It may be changed, paused, or withdrawn when authorization, security, organizational approval, or platform requirements change. Reporting output should be reviewed before being used for decisions.

Google requirements

Use must comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, applicable YouTube policies, and the terms governing the authorized organization’s data. A personal OAuth application does not transfer ownership of, or independent access rights to, a UAC YouTube channel.
